The AH Show happened last night. As always, it was a lot of fun. We stream live via Hangouts On Air every week and then the podcast goes up shortly after that, just in case you missed the show. We had a lot to talk about this week. The agenda was jam packed and we hung out for an hour and a half. Here’s the podcast stream and the show notes for what we talked about last night:
Google buys French firm FlexyCore. The FlexyCore team has already been rolled into the Android team.
An amazon reviewer says that the Nexus 5 embargo will be lifted on October 25th. That doesn’t mean that the device will be available on Friday, but it could be announced this week.
Google is tightening it’s control on Android. This is good for consumers, but the open source community is not happy about it.
HTC could be working a smartwatch. They probably are, but why should customers want to buy a smartwatch from HTC?
HTC One Max leaks out for Verizon and AT&T with the HTC logo swapped out for the company’s logos. Carrier branding is awful.
BBM app released on the Google Play Store. Android users are on a waiting list to get in.
Android 4.4 Google Play Store app leaks out with slide out menu. Kit Kat is almost here.
