Google buys French firm FlexyCore. The FlexyCore team has already been rolled into the Android team.
An amazon reviewer says that the Nexus 5 embargo will be lifted on October 25th. That doesn’t mean that the device will be available on Friday, but it could be announced this week.
Google is tightening it’s control on Android. This is good for consumers, but the open source community is not happy about it.
Hardware
HTC could be working a smartwatch. They probably are, but why should customers want to buy a smartwatch from HTC?
HTC One Max leaks out for Verizon and AT&T with the HTC logo swapped out for the company’s logos. Carrier branding is awful.
Apps
BBM app released on the Google Play Store. Android users are on a waiting list to get in.
Android 4.4 Google Play Store app leaks out with slide out menu. Kit Kat is almost here.
