Fans of the HTC One are waiting for the release of its bigger brother the HTC One Max in the US. Well the wait is almost over, because according to Best Buy’s website, the One Max will be available starting November 15th. The One Max was a terrible kept secret by HTC over the past few months and was officially announced in mid-October.
The One Max is HTC’s response to the Samsung Galaxy Note family, with a screen size of 5.9 inches. Take a look at the specs below:

- 16GB or 32GB internal storage
- Micro SD Slot under removable back cover

If the One Max is anything like its little brother, the One, then we will have an amazing device on our hands here. The HTC One has been winning award after award among users and techie giants all over the world. There is a couple of pretty big differences with the One Max, besides the size. On the back end of this device you will find HTC’s fingerprint scanner.
HTC give you the ability with its fingerprint scanner to open multiple apps using different fingers. So you can set the device to open the camera with your middle finger or the phone using your ring finger. Another big difference, is the back cover, which we touched on a bit in the specs.
Unlike the HTC One, the One Max, has a removable back cover. Under there you will find the battery and an SD slot that allows for expandable storage. The HTC One didn’t have this option, which many people didn’t like, well HTC heard your cries, and changed that on the One Max. The 3,300 mAh battery is still non-removable but, you can now get to the storage. All-in-all this device looks like it will be following in the One’s footprints, and will be another award winning device from HTC. The HTC One Max will also have a pretty cool accessory that you can purchase. A flip case option will allow for a battery charge on the go, which will come in handy after a heavy day’s use of the One Max. Now that all of that is out of the way, lets talk about when you can get your hands on this device, yes plural, you may need both hands.
The One Max has already been released in the UK, but little was known about when the US will receive the device. We did however know that the One Max is headed to Sprint, AT&T and Verizon. Thanks to the Best Buy website, we now know that on November 15th, Sprint customers will be able to purchase the One Max. Sadly, little is known about AT&T and Verizon customers, but we will definitely keep you up to date with those options.
