The tech world has definitely been taking part in Black Friday recently, with some impressive sales going on across the U.S. from carriers and manufacturers. Those of you who are interested in getting in on some more Black Friday action can head over to the Quebec-based Videotron between now and December 2nd to pick up a free Galaxy Tab 3 if you sign up for a $70 two-year contract, as mobilesyrup has reported.
The offer should be pretty appealing to folks who want to pick up a tablet this year along with a new phone. The Galaxy Tab 3 is part of Samsung’s most recent iteration of Android tablets, the others being the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it offers an 8-inch display at 1,024 x 600 pixels (WSVGA Resolution), 1.2GHz Dual-Core Processor, 1.5GB of RAM; all of which are pushing Android 4.2.2 around via Samsung’s Touchwiz interface. Not the most impressive tablet in the world, but definitely worth getting for free if you were planning on activating a line on Videotron soon.
As stated earlier, the offer is only available for the most expensive contract option, which is $70 dollars per month for two years. Not exactly the most affordable option, but certainly not the most expensive either. Either way, you’ll be locked into a two-year contract with them, so those of you who are interested in possibly going Unlocked should think twice. Quite a hefty list of plans, but unfortunately, only the right-most one will get you that Galaxy Tab. Videotron offers a fair amount of high-end phones on their website, so it’s reasonable to assume that you would be able to find the device you’re looking for with them.
