It seems like the LG G Flex is just one of the things that people can’t stop talking about these days. Just in case you haven’t had your fill just yet, some rendered images of the T-mobile and At&t variants of the Flex, have showed up on the web. On @evleaks twitter account to be exact. Evleaks is known for leaking images of just about any device you can think of that might have any sort of media attention. This time around he’s focusing their efforts on giving us a sneak peak at the versions of the LG G Flex that are bound for two of the major U.S. carriers, although this isn’t the first we’ve seen of the LG G Flex posing for the camera. As pointed out by Engadget, they have already had a chance to get their hands on the international model of this device and review it, and as such some images of the device have already popped up around the web before of that particular version.
Still, it is exciting to see some leaks regarding the device with it’s US carrier depictions. Perhaps it’s the idea that release is drawing ever closer, or perhaps seeing the images just makes things more of a reality. Either way, we couldn’t be happier to have these images available for viewing, and speaking from a personal standpoint and a huge LG fan, this phone looks pretty sleek. To add to the allure of the devices already amazing design, it comes with what LG is terming “self healing technology” on the back, and there are no carrier brand stamps anywhere in sight like the ghastly Verizon “V” symbol that looms over the Verizon model of the Galaxy Note II’s home button. I think I can speak for a fairly large group of people when I thank LG and the carriers for this.
No real details have been mentioned as of yet on when we can expect to see these devices show up at either carrier for purchase, nor how much it will cost. That being said, if you look closely at the leaked images of the device for each variant, you’ll notice that the date is different on both of them. Could this be a foreshadowing of when we are to possibly expect the Flex to release on those carriers? Time will tell, and CES is just around the corner so perhaps we’ll learn some more details when the show begins.
