In case you hadn’t noticed, Samsung is making a lot of noise, without actually saying anything at this year’s CES. We know that they’re looking to make some noise with these new “Pro” tablets but, we’re pretty sure that the one that folks are looking forward to the most is the Galaxy Note 12.2 Pro, which will offer users even more screen real estate to draw, take notes or multitask while on the go. Much like last year’s Galaxy Note 10.1 – 2014 Edition, the Note 12.2 Pro brings some of the best specs to a Samsung tablet and of course, offers the S-Pen.
The Galaxy Note 12.2 Pro features a stunning 12.2-inch 2560 x 1600 display, as well as the same sort of design that debuted with the Galaxy Note 3 late last year. On the inside, it’s powered by a Snapdragon 800 or an Exynos 5 Octa (depending on whether you have a WiFi or LTE variant) and it’s got 3GB of RAM and is running Android 4.4 KitKat. Powered by Samsung’s TouchWiz, it comes with all of the same features that you’d expect from a Galaxy Note device.
At 12.2-inches however, it’s perhaps better suited to those that are looking to get work done or those who’re looking for a larger canvas to get creative with the S-Pen. Those looking for something pretty portable however, might want to get something a little smaller. Which, as it turns out, is not a problem if you’re looking for a Samsung tablet. As the leak from earlier on suggests, even the Galaxy Tab 8.4 Pro is going to feature the same specs as the Note 12.2 Pro, save for the 3GB of RAM and a little less storage – which is either 32 or 64 GB here, as well as being expandable. We’ll be hearing more from Samsung later on today, when their press event gets underway a little later on. In the meantime though, let us know in the comments below if 12.2-inches is just too big for an Android tablet!
