All New HTC One With China Mobile Branding Leaked In Pictures

Despite its announcement at the Mobile World Congress, the All New HTC One (M8) remains a highly elusive device.  Any launch-imminent device generates its own hype and hullabaloo, after all the base of Android enthusiasts is huge. However with the All New HTC One, we have been noticing a trend of leaks – which somehow gives the impression that all these leaks are a part of a carefully crafted, albeit strange, marketing strategy. Conspiracy theories aside, the All New HTC One is undeniably one stunning handset.

We now have in our possession images pertaining to a white/silver All New HTC One (M8), which bears the China Mobile branding across the back. The leaked images do not reveal any new spoilers, with the dual camera being outed already in earlier leaks. These images also show the All New HTC One alongside an HTC One Max, which clearly shows that the M8 is smaller than HTC One Max, but is slightly bigger than last years’ HTC One (M7).

In terms of specs, the All New HTC One (M8) sports a 5 inch Super LCD3 display which offers a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution (approximating to 441 ppi pixel density), a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage which is expandable to 128 GB with the built-in MicroSD slot. The unique aspect of the device is the presence of dual 5 Ultra Pixel cameras on the back and a 2.1 MP secondary video call camera. The actual functionality of the dual primary cameras is somewhat of a mystery yet. The device boasts of the full range of 2G, 3G and LTE connectivity and other bells as whistles as expected of a flagship device are also present. Despite the stellar specifications, real world perception of the device will depend very much on how it fares against its older sibling – the HTC One (M7), which was an iconic device in its own right. Are you eagerly awaiting your chance to pick up the new HTC flagship, or are you happy with what you have currently? Out of all the leaks that have surfaced so far, is there anything that you wish would be different about the upcoming device?
