The other day we showed you a leaked image of the brand new Samsung Chromebook coming this year. The last image was just a photo showing off the corner of the Chromebook with the Google Chrome logo, and showing off the all new design that Samsung has decided to go with for their new Chromebook laptop, which is a black faux leather like we’ve seen on the Galaxy Note 3. The Chromebook according to the images will come in black, which could end up being the only color but the possibility of a white wouldn’t be too surprising.
This new picture today comes from evleaks again, but this time instead of just the corner and the Chrome logo we get an angled back view of the entire Chromebook laptop, and we get a nice view of the side and the whole back so we can see just how thin the Chromebook will be. I’m not one for the faux leather design look but it should serve as a nice protective surface and if the Chromebook is rather powerful, that’s the most important thing in the end right? From the image we can see at least one USB port and the audio port for headphones. The specs haven’t been confirmed just yet but what we’ve heard about them so far is that there will potentially be two variants, one with 2GB of RAM and one with 4GB of RAM. It’s also been reported to have a Samsung Exynos processor on the inside to power all the Chromebook activities you’ll be doing. So far there hasn’t been any mention of the actual screen size or the resolution that the display is supposed to have. We also don’t know exactly which Exynos processor will be inside if it’s Exynos in the first place. So based off of this image of the back of the new Chromebook from Samsung, what do think about Samsung’s choice for design? Should they have stuck with a soft touch plastic or went for something a little more high-end and aesthetically pleasing?
