Up until now, the HTC One (M8) had only been available in Verizon stores, although you could order it from AT&T and Sprint and get it within a day or two. Now the AT&T and Sprint stores have the HTC One (M8) available for you to purchase. While T-Mobile is launching their variant of the HTC One (M8) tomorrow, alongside the Galaxy S5. The HTC One (M8) is available for $199 on a new contract from both AT&T and Sprint. T-Mobile’s HTC One (M8) will be available tomorrow for $0 down and around $25/month. The HTC One features a 5-inch 1080p SuperLCD3 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 2600mAh battery along with Android 4.4.2 – KitKat and Sense 6.0. It also has a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera and a second 2-megapixel camera on the back along with a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
We’ve had the HTC One (M8) in hand for a little over a week and are still working on our full review of the device – should be out pretty soon so stay tuned. It’s a great device, and sure the camera can’t compete with the 16-megapixel sensor on the Samsung Galaxy S5, doesn’t mean the camera is crap. It’s actually still a really good camera, at least from the shots I’ve taken. Sense 6 has been improved a lot since Sense 5.5. I’d have to say it’s now my favorite skin out there. It’s right up there with Sony’s skin, in my opinion.
So AT&T has the HTC One and Sprint has it too now. Both for $199 on contract for the 32GB version, which does support a 128GB microSD card. Which is a big deal to a lot of people. Too bad those on T-Mobile will have to wait until tomorrow, which it’ll probably get outshined by the Samsung Galaxy S5 when that launches tomorrow.
