There is a Samsung SM-G800H device showing itself over at the GFX graphics benchmarks database, and it is showing off it’s specs for the whole world to see! The Samsung SM-G800H is believed to be the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini. Now we have been seeing leaks of the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini for a little bit of time now, but we haven’t really seen any specs become available, until now. For some the specs that the Samsung Galaxy S4 supported was not as good as they could be, but these leaked specs should make those feel better.
From the looks of it, the Galaxy S5 mini will be supporting a 4.8″ HD display with a 1280 x 720 resolution, which is nice improvement compared to the 4.3″ super AMOLED display that had 960 x 540 resolution. It also has a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. Which in comparison the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini was supporting a 1.7GHz dual-core processor . So users should really see a bump in performance on the device, which is great for those who want to be able to multi-task. Also the leaked specs show that the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini will be coming with 16GB of internal memory, which should be plenty for most users to store there data on the device. Looks like they didn’t make any improvements to the camera as it is still rocking a 8MP back camera, which can still record 1080p video. However one feature that the S5 mini’s camera will be missing, according to the leaked specs, is HDR mode, which for some is a big feature. The device will also have a 2MP front facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 min will also be running the latest version of Android KitKat 4.4.2, so you won’t be missing any of the big KitKat features. Looks like the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini is going to make a great device for those who are looking for a powerful device, but with not as big of a screen as the Galaxy S5.
