Over the past couple of months we have been seeing a lot of great leaks for the LG G3. The LG G3 has been a highly anticipated device, coming off the massive success of the LG G2. Recently we saw the amazing body of the device, and the great rear button display it will have. We have also seen the specs that it will be rocking. Heck, we even know when it’s going to be announced, which will be May 27th! One thing we haven’t seen however is the model number of the device. Usually this late in the game, we usually get our hands on the model number of a device, possibly through some sort of FCC sighting.
Well, thanks to LG UK’s website, we have found just what we have been looking for! The LG G3’s model number will be LG D855! Now we saw this device number a while ago, but were kind of confused as the leaked document showed the G3 as having the have a 1920 x 1080 display, which didn’t seem right to us. The fact that this is the UK LG website, there is a chance that this is only the european version of the device. Well now the LG G3 is up on the website (in a Coming Soon Format) and now is being supported with a 2560 x 1440 display. That is about all of the information that LG UK’s website shows off about the LG G3, although we do get to get a quick glimpse at the LG G3’s Quick Window cover.
