Today, Evleaks decided to leak out the HTC One M8 in black. The picture above just looks like someone put a “skin” on the back of the HTC One M8, but it could be the real deal. The reason why I say it looks like a skin is because you can see the gunmetal gray underneath the black around the camera, and something just doesn’t look right there. We’ll leave that up to you to decide. But I’d definitely like to have a black HTC One M8. I do like the Gunmetal Gray version, but I like the black one even better, actually. There’s not much else to say here as we have no word on whether it’ll be coming to the US or not, or which carriers or even when it’ll be available.
For those that need a refresher, the HTC One M8 features a 5-inch 1920×1080 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot, there’s also the 4MP UltraPixel camera on the back along with the 5MP front-facing camera and a 2600mAh battery inside. It’s running Android 4.4 KitKat as well. It’s also got Sense 6, which is one of our more favored OEM skins right now, as it’s pretty minimal and doesn’t impact performance, and doesn’t look half bad either. The HTC One M8 is available in gunmetal gray on all four carriers right now, that includes T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T and Verizon. It’s definitely a great device to pick up. It’s not perfect, but it’s nearly perfect.
The Black HTC One M8 does look pretty nice, how many of you are looking forward to picking one up when and if it becomes available in your region and on your carrier? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
