Motorola has had some recent great offerings ranging from deals on the money off your Moto X purchase to the new two week long trial period to test out a custom built Moto X for the small price of just one penny. That’s right, on June 9th(next Monday) for that day only and while supplies last, you can custom build a Moto X in Moto Maker and have it shipped out to you to test for two weeks and it’ll cost you a cent. The deal from June 4th and June 5th saw users saving $100 off a 32GB non-contract model of the Moto X, which has certainly been the best savings so far.
A 32GB Moto X is great, but what about the 64GB model that we have seen references to before? Double the storage of the current highest model is pretty enticing. Motorola knows that users have been wanting on a larger storage model of the Moto X, and today they have announced that the 64GB Moto X is official and will be coming very soon. The cost of the device is said to be $100 more than the normal cost of the 16GB Moto X, which makes perfect sense as the 32GB model is $50 more than the 16GB, so the 64GB model is also $50 more than the 32GB model. That will put the starting cost of the 64GB Moto X at $449.99 which of course could go up depending on what you customize your device with.
When the 64GB model shows up in Moto Maker you could custom build it and add in one of the wood backs which would end up being an additional $25. When it comes to availability, Motorola is saying that the 64GB Moto X will be available from AT&T, Republic Wireless, and Sprint and all carrier locked, and then it will also be available to T-Mobile customers as an unlocked GSM version. What’s interesting is that Verizon Wireless might not end up getting access to this particular size model according to the information acquired by Android Police.
