Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 Coming to AT&T on June 6th

AT&T has just announced that they are adding two more tablets to their lineup. Those would be the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. They are coming later this week as well. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a 12.2-inch 256×1600 resolution display, 3GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and a huge battery. It also is running on Android 4.4 KitKat and the latest version of Touchwiz, which includes the Magazine UX. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a 10.1-inch 1280×800 resolution display, 1.5GB of RAM, quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 16GB of internal storage, along with a 3MP camera on the back.

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 will be available on June 6th for $45/month on Next 20, or $799 if you buy it outright. That’s only a $50 jump over the WiFi only model. While the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 will be priced at $24/month on Next 20, or $379 outright. Again that’s only a $30 jump over the WiFi only model of the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.

So AT&T is adding a pretty high-end tablet and a pretty low-end or mid-range tablet to their line up. But it is still a tablet, which shouldn’t be surprising to see them add to their lineup. As carriers are beginning to figure out that is where the money is now, since Many people aren’t upgrading so often these days, and most people already have a phone line, so they aren’t really adding more customers, just more connections. Which is what tablets do. Lately, we’ve seen a ton of new tablets hit T-Mobile and Verizon’s stores, including a ton of them from Samsung, with the Galaxy TabPRO, NotePRO and Tab 4 line ups now being available. I’m sure AT&T will sell all of these quite well, as they are great tablets.
