During Samsung’s event at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Samsung Electronics Americas Senior Vice President Michael Abary showed off some very cool new features on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S. One new feature is called “Papergarden”. Now Papergarden shouldn’t be confused with MyMagazine, which is a newsfeed flipbook that can be found on current Samsung devices. This great new app is a lovely magazine e-reader for users to use and will be taking the digital magazine too a whole new level! To help show off Papergardens great benefits Samsung is bringing in some heavy hitters in the magazine industry.
The two big heavy hitters are Conde Nast, and National Geographics! Tom Wallace, the editorial director of Conde Nast stated that they will be bringing some of its most popular brands to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, including Vogue, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Golf Digest, and GQ! Adam Sutherland, National Geographic’s senior vice president of global strategy and business development announced that along with National Geographics fun articles, users will be able to see the amazing photos right on their Samsung Galaxy Tab S!
“With the Tab S, the look of our digital content is given a quality boost plus an interactive tablet experience you can take anywhere,” Tom Wallace said.
Also, Samsung is looking to change the comic book industry as it also announced a partnership with Marvel that will allow Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 users to get three months of free access to Marvel Unilimited and the massive library of their digital comics. Users will also be able to get sneak peak previews of upcoming Marvel movies!
Samsung is also partnering with The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Economist, and many more!
