Meizu MX4 To Have The Thinnest Bezels Around, Front Panel Images Leaked Along With The Schematics

Meizu is one of the top ten smartphone manufacturers in China. We don’t exactly see many of their products outside of China. Meizu MX3 is the last smartphone this company released as part of the MX line, that was last September. This device was well-specced back then and it still is. It is sporting a 5.1″ 1800 x 1080 display (15:9 aspect ratio) and Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa chip (four Cortex A15 cores at 1.6 GHz and four Cortex A7 cores at 1.2 GHz) is the processor inside this phone. As far as the storage goes there’s plenty to choose from, starting with the basic 16GB model all the way up to 128GB one. 2GB of RAM lays inside this phone as well as Sony’s 8MP rear-facing camera while there’s a 2MP shooter on the front. Android 4.2 JellyBean is present out of the box with a 2,400mAh battery taking care of juicing up the phone. Meizu MX3 was even made available for purchase in the U.S. about 6 months after its release, which nobody actually expected.

That being said, Meizu’s next phone is expected to be the Meizu MX4, which we talked about recently. We’ve seen leaked images of the device and some rumors when it might be released, among other rumors. The phone is expected to arrive in a few months and this time around we have its alleged schematics and a front panel of the device itself shared by ePrice via Weibo. This device is expected to sport the thinnest bezels thus far, they will allegedly be thinner than any other phone’s offering. As you can see in the pictures below, they are extremely thin, 1.1mm to be exact. You can also see this panel lined up next to some other (Xperia?) panels in the image below, they are really incredibly thin. We actually wonder how sturdy will this device be with panels like those, hopefully Meizu thought of this before planning to make it.

Meizu MX4 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 805 processor accompanied by 3GB of RAM and a 13MP rear-facing shooter, while the front-facing one will allegedly be a 5MP one. The device is expected to launch in August, but I have no doubt we’ll hear more about it before then.

Would you be interested in a device like this? Those bezels and specifications really do look/sound appealing.
