The LG G Pro 2 Lite has been all but confirmed in multiple leaks for Verizon as the G Vista. Rumors also suggested that the device would be headed to AT&T and Sprint as well. Now there are FCC filings that may show the G Pro 2 Lite headed to AT&T.
When the G Pro 2 Lite becomes available on Verizon, it’s expected to be under a different name; the LG G Vista. While we already know about the Verizon version, it’s unknown as to what the name of the G Pro 2 Lite will be on other carriers. Though according to a FCC filing, there is an LG device with a model number of LG D361 that operates on AT&T’s LTE bands.
There is no mention of AT&T in the FCC filing that has been spotted, but the fact that it operates on AT&T’s LTE bands may be enough. There also is no name of the device on the filings, however the specs resemble that of the LG G Pro 2 Lite. A 5.7-inch 1280×720 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an 8MP back facing camera, and a 1.3MP front facing camera. There will also be 1GB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage, and a 3200mAh battery.
It’s possible that AT&T will take the same name in the US for the device, and call it the LG G Vista-just like Verizon. As for Verizon, the G Vista is expected to release on Friday July 18th. There is no word as to when AT&T may release this device, but expect it soon after Verizon. No matter when the release date, the G Vista is a budget device. A device aimed at those who don’t want to spend the higher pricing of the LG G Pro, or who just don’t have the need for high end specs. This FCC filing for an AT&T device, and the many leaks for Verizon means Sprint should be very close behind.
There’s been no word as to the device as it concerns to T-Mobile. The early rumors suggested the device may not be headed to T-Mobile at all, but that could change at any point as the device comes closer to the US.
