The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is around the corner and a new report suggest that there will be a variant of the device. Now when we mean variant, we’re not talking about a similar phone with a different casing or water resistant features — We’re talking about 64 bit technology. In a report published by IBTimes, the Note 4 variant will feature a 64-bit octa-core Exynos SoC. With such a powerful chip inside, the Exynos 5433 will have eight cores in a single CPU package This means that the processing cores will consist of four Cortex-A15 and four Cortex-A7. Not only will the Note 4 feature a Exynos processor but it will include an LTE category 6 modem that will ensure 300Mbps of speed and be able to hit markets globally.

Now to set the bar straight, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with the 64-bit processor is the variant device. Samsung is expected to offer a version of the Note 4 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor inside. Samsung has reported that the Note 4 will have two editions which will be the Exynos and Snapdragon. In addition, Samsung will produce an equal amount of both the Exynos powered and the Snapdragon powered devices. Going back to the Exynos model, along with the category 6 modem, a Mali graphics engine will be present. Its rumored that the Note 4 will have a Quad HD display panel in 2K resolution. To put that in perspective, that’s 2560 x 1600 screen pixels.
