Another Set Of Xperia Z3 Images Appear, Non-Removable Battery Shown

We’ve seen a ton of Sony leaks in the past couple of weeks. From Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact to their upcoming tablet offering Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Sony means business this time around and all of these devices seem to carry enough punch in order to be extremely competitive. We’ve already seen leaked images of Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z3 flagship smartphone, and now we have some more of those for you, courtesy of Xperia Blog.

This time around though, we even have some images of the phone’s inner parts which confirm the handset will have a 3,100mAh non-removable battery. These are very clear images which show off basically every part of the device. You have a clean look at all sides and ports. The device itself looks… well, like a Sony Xperia Z line smartphone. Sleek and elegant design, just like its predecessor. This device appears to be a dual SIM variant though and is most likely a model Sony will sell in Asia. There are a bunch of images located in the gallery below, so take a look.

Sony Xperia Z3 is expected to sport a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) Triluminous display along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card). Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor is expected to power the device. 20.7-megapixel camera is expected on the back of the device as its main camera with 2-megapixel shooter being located at the front of the device. Xpera Z3 will allegedly be significantly thinner than its predecessor, which you can kind of see in the images below. Xperia Z3 will probably also be water and dust resistant, just like the previous models.

Sony scheduled a press event for September 4th as part of IFA in Berlin. They’ll probably unveil this device then, perhaps we’ll even see Xperia Z3 Compact and / or Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact make an appearance there. Sony will face serious competition because this year’s IFA is truly packed with events, basically every major manufacturer will have something to say. Interesting enough, Samsung is holding its “Unpacked” event on that very same day and is expected to launch Galaxy Note 4 there. Anyhow, it’s going to be a really interesting day.
