AT&T just announced that it’s adding yet another tablet to it’s lineup later this week. On Friday, AT&T is adding the LG G Pad 7.0 LTE to it’s lineup. Which Evleaks leaked out a little while ago, so we pretty much knew it was coming our way. The LG G Pad 7.0 LTE isn’t a high-end tablet, but more of a low-end tablet from LG. Think of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 4 lineup, but with LG and their software. We haven’t gotten our hands on the new G Pad line yet, but we do hope to get our hands on at least one of them soon.
As far as specs go, we’re looking at a 7-inch 1280×800 resolution IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is quad-core and clocked at 1.2GHz, 5MP camera on the back and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. There’s also Android 4.4.2 KitKat on board. There’s also a non-removable 4,000mAh battery inside. So like we said, it’s not the most high-end tablet out there, but for an asking price of $149.99 with a new two-year contract. Or you can grab it for $12.50 per month on AT&T NEXT. Which still isn’t bad pricing.
LG also has the G Pad in 8 and 10 inch variants but as of right now this LG G Pad 7.0 LTE is the only LTE variant in the US at least. We may see some others hit Verizon, or T-Mobile soon. As both of them have been working hard bringing in more and more tablets to their networks lately. The LG G Pad 7.0 LTE does look like a pretty decent tablet, and with Q Pair, it makes owning a LG G3 and a LG G Pad 7.0 LTE even better, as they can sync notifications with each other.
