We’ve written about the LG G3 Vigor before, the slightly less powerful version of the LG G3 meant for the more mid-range device crowd, and if this is a device that you’re particularly interested in picking up you won’t have to wait long as AT&T is scheduled to be placing this phone on their line up within the next few days. The Vigor is all set up to hit AT&T stores beginning on September 26th, which is this Friday, and if you grab yourself one on launch day then you’ll have a brand new phone to play with through the weekend.
The phone has HD voice support on AT&T’s network, which is a plus for those who currently have phones that they feel have less than desirable voice and call quality. It takes on some of the great looking styles of the LG G3, but without some of the higher-end and more powerful specs, which is a tiny bit of a let down sure, but it will also come with a considerably smaller price tag as well which for those who are looking to save a little cash, the lower price might outweigh the drop in specs. The device is 4G LTE compatible, so you’ll still be able to take advantage of AT&T’s faster data speeds if you’re in an supported area, another bonus for not having to spend a lot of money.
The total cost of the LG G3 Vigor on AT&T will be $334.99 without having to re-up a contract, if avoiding another 2-year commitment is the end goal, but if customers don’t mind resigning they can pick it up for just $49.99. If customers choose the former route and opt to pay full retail, they can also break it up into monthly payments on their bill in two different options, at $13.96 a month with the Next 18 option, or at $16.75 a month with the Next 12 option. The Vigor sports a 5-inch HD IPS display, not bad by any means, and it still packs a handful of features seen on the LG G3 like Knock Code, Smart Cleaning, Laser Auto-Focus for the rear camera, and what LG is stating will provide better selfies with the gesture shutter feature. When you get right down to it, the LG G3 Vigor is a pretty solid device option for anyone wanting a little bit of the original LG G3’s features and hardware design but don’t mind skipping out on some of the higher-end specifications if it means saving some money. Will you be grabbing the LG G3 Vigor this weekend?
