Meizu MX4 Gets Disassembled, Take A Look Inside

Meizu sure got a lot of publicity lately. China-based manufacturer has introduced its Meizu MX4 smartphone along with a new iteration of their Android-based operating system, Flyme 4.0. Since then, the device has been well received both in China and abroad. Meizu’s pre-order exceeded 7.7 million units and now it seems this company will face some delays when it comes to shipping those units considering they just don’t have the capacity to make so many phones that fast. They will even offer some coupons as an apology for the devices which are over 2 weeks late.

For those of you wondering how the device looks like on the inside, we bring you a disassembled Meizu MX4 straight from China, just check out the gallery below the article. There’s not much to talk about here, you can basically check out the internals of the device and how they fit together if that’s something that interests you, also there’s an 8/10 score which is repairability score I believe. What you’ll see in these images are phones components and circuitry. The device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6595 octa-core processor (four ARM Cortex-A17 processor and four Cortex-A7 processors) while it also packs 2GB of RAM and 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage. It sports a 5.36-inch 1080p (1920 x 1152) display and a 3,100mAh non-removable battery. PowerVR Series 6 GPU is here to take care of graphics processing in collaboration with the aforementioned CPU of course. On the back of the device you’ll find a 20.7-megapixel camera with Sony’s IMX 200 sensor and dual LED, dual tone flash, while there’s a 5-megapixel shooter on the front of the device. Android 4.4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on this device though there’s Meizu’s very own Flyme 4.0 OS on top of it. The device measures 144 x 75.2 x 7.9mm.

The device is available in 16, 32 or 64GB variants directly from Meizu in China and 16 or 32GB variants internationally. You can get it internationally directly from this Chinese manufacturer or from one of the resellers like GearBest and Comebuy. The device is currently available in gray color, white will be available soon, same goes for the gold color as well. 16, 32 and 64GB variants will set you back 1799 ($292), 1999 ($325) and 2399 ($390) Yuan respectively if you buy it in China. Internationally on the other hand, you can buy 16 or 32GB variants which will cost you $449 or $499.
