The Moto X (2014) went up for pre-order last week, and now it’s shipping. Those of you that made a Moto X through MotoMaker should begin seeing your Moto X show up in a few days, if it’s not there today. As Motorola is shipping these things via overnight shipping from China. We’ve been using the Moto X for a little bit now, and are loving the thing. I definitely can’t wait to see everyone else get their hands on this device. The Moto X (2014) features a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage, 13MP camera on the back, 2MP front-facing camera, front-facing speaker, and a 2300mAh battery inside. It’s also running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat for those wondering.

Inside MotoMaker, you are able to choose from four different leather options, four different wood options and a ton of other plastic colors. The Moto X (2014) is also going for $499 unlocked, or $99 on contract at AT&T. If you are a student, you can get $50 off of an Unlocked Moto X 16GB. However, if you want leather or wood you’re going to be paying an extra $25. Also if you want to bump up your storage to 32GB, you’ll be paying an extra $50. Even if you get a Leather Moto X 32GB, you’re still paying about $100 less than any other flagship. So it’s still a pretty darn good price.

We’ve been using the black leather model for a few weeks now and the leather has held up pretty well. And it looks good the more it gets worn, at least to me. How many of you pre-ordered a Moto X last week on AT&T or the unlocked one? If you did, let us know in the comments and let us know what colors, and/or materials you went with. Also let us know if yours has shipped.
