Google Play Music with Full Material Design Leaks Out

The folks over at Droid Life have gotten their hands on a leaked version of Google Play Music. This is version 5.6.1640, and has full material design built into the app, and boy does it look really nice. For the most part, everything is in the same places, but it just looks nicer and has the material design look and feel. You’ve still got the slideout drawer which takes you to playlists, radio, library and much more. The settings is also set up  the exact same way. But obviously MOAR MATERIAL. The update is going to bring all the material design goodies we’ve been waiting for. And it’s looking like Google was true to their word saying all of their apps would get material design this fall, even though they’ve said that before and haven’t delivered.

The first OTA’s for Android 5.0 Lollipop are said to begin on November 3rd, and that’ll be for the WiFi models. Like the Nexus 7 2012, Nexus 7 2013, and Nexus 10. That is also the same day that the Nexus 9 ships out, and should be in our hands a few days afterwards. We wouldn’t be surprised to see the Google Play Music app and a bunch of other Google apps get their updates when November 3rd hits and Lollipop pops out of the Google servers. So far we really only have two apps that are full material design. That’s the Google Play Store and Google Play Movies & TV. Hopefully that changes soon because material design is so nice to look at.

We don’t have the APK for this one because it was a leaked update to Google Play Music. So we don’t want anyone bricking their devices by attempting to install it, as we are not responsible for bricking your device(s). How many of you are itching to get your hands on Android 5.0 – Lollipop?
