Oppo had plenty to say at their press conference in Singapore yesterday. This Chinese manufacturer not only released the long-awaited Oppo N1 successor, but also introduced the thinnest phone in the world which took that title from Gionee Elife S5.1. We’ve talked about these devices at length already and have covered 2 accessories Oppo introduced for each of these devices. It seems like Oppo had much more to say that we though, the company introduced a bunch of additional accessories for these devices. Let’s see what the company will offer alongside these devices.
Other than announcing O-Click and O-Music accessories, which we covered in this article, Oppo announced the following accessories: O-Lens, PM-3, HA-2, O-Band and of course VOOC charger, which you get with both of these devices, but you can buy one separately if you want. Anyhow, let’s tackle these accessories one by one. All these accessories are basically a step up from N1’s accessories, instead of releasing PM-1, Oppo did some rebranding and is now offering PM-3 for example. Talking about PM-3, this is basically a quality pair of headphones which charge incredibly fast according to Oppo, they use the same technology as the Oppo N3 and R5, VOOC rapid charing. O-Lens is Oppo’s huge camera lens which you can attach to your smartphone, much like Sony’s offerings from a few months back. They bring 10x zoom and come with a built-in OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support. HA-2 is a Hi-Fi AMP which has DAC ESS 9018 chip built-in, which makes it possible for it to reach 384KHz / 32bitPCM audio decoding, in plain words, you’ll get extremely loud and crisp output here. We don’t have much information on the O-Band, but it seems like this is Oppo’s very own fitness tracker of sorts.
This is a rather solid lineup of accessories Oppo is brining forward, there’s something for everyone here. Pricing has been released only for PM-3 headphones and HA-2 AMP, the former one will cost you 2698 Yuan ($441) while the latter one will set you back 1998 Yuan ($327). We’re still waiting on more specific information when it comes to these devices considering these prices are through the roof, much like the Oppo N3’s price.
