As some of you might know, Lenovo is the biggest PC manufacturer in the world. Lenovo’s PC business is booming for a long time now and they’re doing great in that segment. This Chinese company has also purchased Motorola from Google and by doing that it automatically expanded as far as smartphone business goes. Lenovo is doing really good in this aspect as well, they’re fourth or fifth smartphone manufacturer in the world at the moment and they’re doing great progress. Lenovo has launched S90 Sisley smartphone recently, a budget handset which got a lot of people angry considering the phone looks a lot like the iPhone 6, even too much if you ask me. Lenovo launched a couple more devices over the past couple of month and another one just arrived.
Lenovo Golden Warrior Note 8 is company’s newest entry-level 4G handset and it joins S8 and A8 as part of the Golden Warrior family. This handset has a rather large screen, which you can gather from its name. The device sports a 6-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 1GB of RAM for your multitasking needs and 8GB of internal storage. The device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. 13-megapixel camera is located at the back of this phablet while there’s a 5-megapixel snapper available on the front of the device. This is also a dual SIM device and as I already mentioned, it supports 4G LTE connectivity. Golden Warrior Note 8 will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed with Lenovo’s skin on top of it, of course.
Lenovo didn’t share the exact release date for this phablet, but the company did mention the device will launch in time for the Chinese New Year and that it will be priced around 1,200 Yuan ($196). I guess this handset is supposed to rival Xiaomi’s Redmi Note, though I believe Lenovo could go a step further here and offer at least 2GB of RAM along with this device. That’s just me though, I believe many people will like this device and will be interesting in purchasing one for themselves. What do you think, is this a good value?
