Huawei Glory 6 Plus has leaked many times in the last couple of days, piece by piece. The device visited TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) and got certified, where we also got some info regarding its specifications. Anyhow, the device has been rumored to cost a whopping 3,299 Yuan ($537) and the rumored release date was the December 18th, the date which seems to be off. We finally got some official information regarding this handset, Huawei’s Liu Jiangfeng said the device will launch on December 16th and by doing that disputed the rumored release date. That’s not the only piece of information that came our way though, the aforementioned price leaked yet again (image down below), it seems more and more likely Glory 6 Plus will cost 3,299 Yuan.
Either way, this handset is expected to sport a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 32GB of internal storage. The Glory 6 Plus will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and will ship with a dual 8-megapixel cameras on the back of the device, which will be used for 3D capture or some sort of a refocus feature like we’ve seen on the HTC One M8. Android 4.4 KitKat will ship with this device with Huawei’s Emotion UI on top of it. The device will quite probably support 4G LTE connectivity, though that wasn’t mentioned by TENAA listing. Huawei Glory 6 Plus will measure 150.46 — 75.68 — 7.5mm and it will weight 165 grams.
This Chinese manufacturer has big plans for 2015, but it seems they still have something up the sleeve for this year. Huawei Glory 6 Plus does pack some serious specs on the inside, but its price is also rather steep, if rumors are to believed, of course. So, December 16th is the date we’ll see this thing unveiled, finally. This question goes primarily to those of you living in China, but others are welcome to respond as well, of course, even though we still don’t know if the device will be available worldwide… do you considering this device worth the hefty price tag and would you consider buying it?
