Huawei Will Probably Announce the Glory 6X On November 24th

Huawei is a rather often topic in the news lately. The company is working hard in order to develop 5G technology and make it a reality by 2018. Huawei’s 2015 device lineup also leaked recently and showed us some really formidable offerings which will hopefully be released next year by this Chinese manufacturer. Huawei D8 and Ascend Mate 8 sounds really interesting and the first one will allegedly be Huawei’s flagship for next year. That handset will allegedly sport a 5.5-inch 2K display along with 4GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, not to mention the listing says Huawei’s yet-unreleased Kirin 950 processor will be a part of the package as well. Huawei is really stepping up its game lately as far as their devices go, well, their software is also a lot better now, Ascend Mate 7 really upped the ante.

Anyhow, Huawei announced they’ll hold an event on 24th of November, which is in three days. We actually have a pretty good idea what Huawei might announce there, though it’s still not confirmed of course. Earlier this month, two versions of one Huawei handset got certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC), PE-TL10 and PE-UL10. These devices are probably codenames of Huawei’s upcoming Glory 6X handset and Huawei will probably announce that handset in a couple of days. According to TENAA listing, this handset will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 32GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 64GB). The handset will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and a dual 8-megapixel camera will be located on the back of this handset. Android 4.4 KitKat will ship with this device with Huawei’s very own Emotion UI on top of it. The handset will measure 150.46 x 75.68 x 7.5mm and will weight 165 grams.

Rumors have been saying this handset will be released in December at first and that might be true, but I believe Huawei might actually pull the trigger in three days, if not, then December is a safe bet. Rumors are saying this handset will cost 1999 Yuan ($326) and also mention something about wood materials, perhaps some sort of accessories are coming along with this device. As you can see, this handset has similar specifications to the Huawei Glory / Honor 6 which is available for a while now. That handset features a 5-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM and a HiSilicon Kirin 920 octa-core chip. Huawei Glory 6X might be more of an iterative update than anything else.
