LG G Watch and Moto 360 are the only Android Wear-powered smartwatches with circular displays currently introduced / available. AT&T announced the availability of LG G Watch recently and it seems like this carrier is about to sell another round smartwatch as well, Moto 360 will also be available starting November 7th at AT&T. Moto 360 will cost you $249 on its own, but if you plan to buy a Moto X (2014) as well you’ll get $50 discount on Moto 360, which basically means you’ll get the watch for $199 if you pick up both of those devices. Keep in mind that this is a limited time offer though, so if you plan to pick up both of those gadgets from AT&T you should act fast.
Moto 360 followed Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch to become the third Android Wear-based smartwatch out on the market and a first one to sport a circular display. Motorola’s smartwatch is truly a beautiful device, no matter whether you like circular smartwatches (or watches in general) you have to admit that Motorola did a great job as far as the design goes here. They really paid attention to details and did everything they could in order to make this thing look less like a smartwatch and more like a nice and elegant watch, which is the whole point I guess. Motorola Moto 360 features a 1.56-inch 320 x 290 IPS LCD display along with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. This smartwatch is powered by a Texas Instruments OMAP 3 processor and it comes with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. The watch comes in Black and Silver colors and it connects to your Android 4.3 smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0. The watch measures 46mm in diameter and it weighs 49 grams. 320mAh battery is built-in here and the watch ships with Android Wear OS, as I already mentioned.
If you’re interested in both Moto X and Moto 360 this might be a great deal for you. In any case, here are both our Moto X (2014) and Moto 360 reviews in order to help you decide. Let us know if you plan to take AT&T up on this offer and what do you think about smartwatches in general, do you think they’re worth it at the moment?
