There are two models – the Izon View for $99.95 and the Izon 2.0 at $79.95 – and with the sub-$100 prices, Izons cameras offer one of the best values on the market today. They are Wi-Fi enabled video cameras that can be setup anywhere in your home or business that have access to a Wi-Fi signal and electrical outlet. The companion Android App allows you to stream that video feed directly to your mobile device – smartphone or tablet.
The cheaper model, the Izon 2.0 for $79.95 uses a simple Android app: An easy to navigate mobile application allows you to access your home video camera while on-the-go. The highlights are – Minimalistic design: Sleek and slim design fits well in a contemporary home setting – Push notifications: Alerts you on your mobile device when the camera detects motion or noise – Use it anywhere in your home: For use on any flat surface and can be mounted to a ceiling. It tilts and swivels easily on its unique magnetic base – Easy setup: No computer needed, setup in minutes – Wi-Fi connected: Connects to your local wireless network. The more expensive model, the Izon View for $99.95 adds Night Vision, so when the lights are off, you can still see – it uses IR LEDS on the front of the camera to enhance monitoring in the dark.
The cameras are very easy to setup – first you plug in the camera with the provided 9-foot cable to give it power and aim the camera towards the subject or object you wish to watch. Next, the Izon Camera will connect to your wireless internet. Lastly, download the app to your smartphone or tablet and this will allow you to control the Izon camera not matter where you are located. The camera sends the video to the cloud or directly to your mobile device – the cloud will store up to 100 video playbacks. The cloud then securely streams the video to your device.
