Verizon's Connection Day Is Underway With A Load of Freebies Offered

It is getting closer. Black Friday is just around the corner and as it quickly approaches, deals are starting to come down the wire. As with all the US carriers, Verizon do have a couple of deals en-route for the Black Friday weekend. As a warm-up though, Verizon announced last week they would be holding a ‘Connection day’ offering both Verizon users and not a couple of quick and easy Black Friday fixes. Well, Connection day is officially underway and here is what’s on offer.

First up if you are a Verizon customer then you are entitled to a ‘free gift’. You need to have a Verizon account to validate for this gift though. If you are a ‘More Everything’ customer then you will get 1GB extra cloud storage for this monthly billing cycle and the next. If you are not a More Everything customer then you can get a discount on Mophie Powerstation 4000 battery pack. Next up Verizon have teamed up with Amazon to offer everyone (Verizon or not) a few freebies. For instance, on offer is ten free songs. These are completely free and vary in content, including artists like Lenny Kravitz and The National. Verizon and Amazon are also offering ten free apps via the Amazon Appstore. If you sign up for Audible (by Amazon) you will also get two free Audible audiobooks. Not to mention if you are a Prime member you will get ten free holiday playlists to listen to. Outside of Amazon, if you download the Verizon FIOS app then you can watch select “hit movies and shows” for free.

There also seems to be a few travel perks on offer from Verizon. First up, free WiFi connection at participating airports. This is in conjunction with Boingo so you will need to download the Boingo app to take advantage of this one. Similarly, with Gogo you can get thirty minutes of free in-flight WiFi. Alternatively, if you fly with Jet Blue then you can take advantage of free Fly-Fi for ‘select’ flights. Lastly, you can download digital editions of a number of magazines (like Vogue and Conde Nast Traveler) or take advantage of seven days free ad-free Pandora subscription. Well, there you go. That’s the long and short of Verizon’s Connection day offers. If you want further details then click here to head over to the main page listing. Anything grabbing your attention? Let us know.
