Asus will definitely make an appearance at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) next month. We haven’t heard much from the company lately, but they have recently teased dual cameras for their upcoming device which will get announced at CES in Las Vegas. That’s probably not all we’ll be seeing from Asus at CES though, ZC451CG device by Asus popped up on Bluetooth SIG and revealed the arrival of a ZenFone refresh quite probably. Even without the completely revealing description at Bluetooth SIG, we’d know what’s going on considering that the currently available ZenFone handsets have A400CG and A450CG model numbers and the device which popped up on Bluetooth SIG closely resembles the latter.
The description did basically reveal everything, so we didn’t even have to guess. It says that the ZC451CG model is the successor to Asus’ ZenFone device. The phone will feature a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 display along with 1GB of RAM. This device will be powered by Intel’s dual-core processor according to the description and will ship with a 2100mAh battery. 5-megapixel camera will be located at the back of this phone with the 0.3-megapixel shooter being available on the front. Android 4.4 KitKat will come pre-installed on this device with Asus’ ZenUI on top of it, of course.
The description did, however, mention the “dual cameras” on this phone, but they don’t mean the dual rear-facing cameras, this phone will sport two cameras (one on the front and one on the back), but the description can be a bit misleading. It seems like we’ll get yet another mid-range offering from Asus in form of a ZenFone 4 upgrade, though we’re far more interested in the dual-camera teaser Asus posted the other day. Do you think Asus will be able to leave its mark at CES next month and do you like their ZenFone line of smartphones, if you had the chance to mess around with either of those devices, of course? Let us know what you think Asus should announce at CES in order to really leave its mark in 2015.
