December 16th will be a big day for Huawei. The company has teased the release of Glory 6 Plus and Glory 4X (Glory equals Honor naming, depending on the market) many times thus far. Glory 6 Plus will most certainly be the more powerful of the two, but the Glory 4X will sport Huawei’s newly announced Kirin 620 64-bit SoC. The 4X pre-sales have already kicked off in China yesterday and we already know basically everything there is to know about this handset, the only thing we’re waiting for at this moment is the official announcement which will take place soon. We’ll talk more about its specifications later, now we have some new leaks to share with you.
Four new images leaked reportedly showing us the Glory / Honor 4X itself, you can check all of them below the article. I’d say the device looks alright, nothing special though, a typical design by Huawei, but it looks nice, at least in my humble opinion. Looking at the images, you can see the device from almost every corner and as you can see it sports a rather weird pattern on the back plate. I bet that we’re talking about plastic here considering this is a mid-range handset, though who knows, perhaps Huawei decides to go with metal here as well, we’ll find out soon. What do you think?
Let’s take a look at the specifications of this handset, Glory 4X features a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 1 or 2GB of RAM, Huawei will offer two versions of this device, so it’s up to you which one you’ll get. Huawei’s recently announced Kirin 620 64-bit octa-core processor will power on this device while Mali 450 GPU will be in charge of graphics rendering. 13-megapixel camera is located at the back of this device and is flanked by an LED flash, on the front side of it, you can find a 5-megapixel snapper for your selfie and video call needs. 3000mAh battery is here to power on this thing while the device will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat with Huawei’s Emotion UI on top of it.
