Since the early days of November and the release of Android 5.0, aka Lollipop. All eyes have been on the various manufacturers to bring to the masses their take on the new operating system. Since then, we have seen a number of ported versions of Lollipop released for various devices. Most of these are unofficial versions and considered quite buggy. In terms of any actual official releases, the Nexus devices have had the Lollipop update, as has a couple of Motorola devices. Not to mention LG look set to roll-out the highly awaited operating system to their flagship device, the LG G3.
In terms of Samsung, we have yet to get a full release of Lollipop for any device. This is largely probably due to Samsung having to integrate TouchWiz on top. Love it or hate it, the South Korean giant will need to fully adapt their TouchWiz skin to Lollipop before a full release can occur. That said, we have seen a number of leaked videos and images showing what a Lollipop flavoured with TouchWiz will look like. Until now, this was mainly via the Samsung Galaxy series including the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5. Well, it now looks like the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 can be added to the list. This is probably Samsung’s most famous and popular range of devices and the Note 4 looks to be one of the best devices out there. As such any images of Lollipop on the Note 4 will be warmly welcomed.
Now, unfortunately there is not an abundance of images on offer with only two made available so far. That said, the Note 4 does seem to be running a revamped version of the TouchWiz Nature UX 3.0 interface. This looks to be adapted to incorporate Lollipop’s more Material Design look and feel. As such colours are brighter, there is a more Card-like basis to the interface. The two images show what the lock screen will probably look like on the Note 4 running Lollipop. While the second image focuses on the look of the drop down menu. The images were made available by SamMobile’s D.Dorresteijn and so it is likely we might get to see some more soon enough.
