Dual-Sim Samsung Galaxy S6 On Show In New Image With Rumored March 31st China Launch Event

It has been hard of late to tune into any tech news without hearing about Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and its partner device, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Since the devices were unveiled at MWC back at the start of the month, the anticipation behind the Galaxy S6’s has been massive. Although, the devices are still a few weeks away from seeing their proper April 10th Global release and launch, they have now officially been made available for pre-order and can be ordered from a number of carriers in the U.S. and elsewhere. Not to mention, the devices are now in a number of retailers so that those who are still unsure (or just too excited to wait) can get personal with the devices in more of a one-to-one before the stores actually start selling.

Well, if you are based in China, Russia or the Philippines then you might have been interested by the recent news that as well as the more well-known and announced specifications that are coming with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, it is also being reported that these regions are expected to see a dual-SIM version landing. A ‘duo’ as it is being dubbed. There has yet to be a formal announcement on the matter from Samsung, although the duo was spotted recently being listed on a Russian online retailer site. Not to mention, dual-SIM versions of the device were already reported to have passed certification in China. So there is fairly solid backing for the soon-to-be-announced Galaxy S6 variants.

To add to the growing evidence it now seems a new leaked image has made its way online which is apparently of the duo Galaxy S6 obtained by a site in China who managed to get their own hands-on with the device. The image does clearly show the dual-SIM nature of the device which sports a conjoined SIM tray. Besides, the inclusion of the dual-SIM support, there are no further expected major differences from the standard announced devices and already known specifications. However, the source of the current images (source link below) does suggest that on March 31st, Samsung will be officially announcing the dual-SIM devices for China in an event being held in Beijing.
