LG G4 U.S. Carrier Availability Details Known So Far

It has probably been impossible to turn on any news reports this morning without hearing the news that LG have finally released their long awaited and highly rumored next flagship device, the LG G4. This is the follow-up to the LG G3 and comes with a more refined presence. Still building on the G3, but with more up-to-date specs. You can see a full list of the official and confirmed specs that were announced today for the LG G4 by clicking here. However, since the device has been announced, the carriers have also been quick to output their respective press statements detailing their intention to stock and to sell. Of course, the announcements are not greatly defined in terms of specific details and especially in terms of pricing, however, they are announcing their intention to carry. To keep you updated on what is known so far, here are those confirmed carrier details for the U.S.

T-Mobile were quick to release their intention to carry and also announced a preview program for winners of a daily sweepstakes to test run the G4 (and keep) prior to its launch. The preview period will end on May 25th with the carrier expected to begin selling in June. Verizon has also confirmed their intention to carry this morning. Again, no firm details were provided and instead the company sent out a tweet noting their confirmation. Sprint have also made an announcement via press release, detailing that they too will be carrying the LG G4 and again from June. Likewise, U.S. Cellular have also detailed that they will also stock the LG G4 from June. Although, there has been no official word from AT&T on their plans as yet, it is largely being reported that they will be offering the LG G4 as well.

Although none of the carriers are confirming the price of the G4 when it does become available in the U.S. LG did announce that the device will come priced in line with what the G3 did at launch. Therefore, the common consensus seems to be that it will be available at launch around the $200 marker when signing up for a two-year contract. Likewise, the off-contract price is expected to come in around or over the $600 marker.
