Oppo Find 9 Shows Off Patterned Backs and Stunning Design

Oppo is one of the many Chinese manufacturers that exist, but it’s one of the few that manages to hold our attention constantly.  The company releases few phones per year, and the ones that they do release, such as the Find 7 and 7a, Find 5,  as well as the R5 are astoundingly stylish and impressive, with a special feature each.  The Find series of smartphones in particular have helped to push boundaries in the smartphone industry, with the Find 5 featuring a full-steel body and the Find 7 featuring the world’s first QuadHD (2560 by 1440 pixels) display, and the R5 having one of the slimmest form factors to date.  With another year for phones beginning, Oppo obviously has another one to design and let leak out, just as it did today.  Meet the Oppo Find 9.

This one comes to us from a rather not-usual source: Path.  Path, for those unaware, is a social network that lets you find and chat with fellow Internet-folk as well as share photos.  User Njum Caskia shared a photo of a photo set of a new Oppo phone: the Find 9, according to the photos.  From the photos, we can see that there is a fingerprint interface, like a scanner or O-touch area for backside navigation swipes and the like, as well as a pair of camera lenses.  Yes, that a pair of lenses, as in two camera modules, stacked on the back of the device.  What could this mean?  And what do we know about the Oppo Find 9 thus far?

Well, we know from a previous leak that the device is purported to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, their 64-bit octa-core processor that clocks in at 1.9 GHz, as well as 4 gigabytes of RAM.  We can also likely expect, since the Find 9 will likely come out in the early summer, an Android Lollipop-based version of Oppo’s ColorOS overlay.  We now know that if this leak is true, we will have dual cameras on the Find 9, giving either very cool 3D effects to photos shot with the phone, or perhaps even allowing higher megapixel or better-focused pictures to be taken on the handset.  We also can see from this leak that the phone will be nothing short of stylish and fashionable, with the zebra-printed, leopard-printed, and straight-black back panels and the clean black slate of the front of the phone.  We can also probably expect Oppo to include their quick-charging feature, since it first debuted to popular approval on the Find 7 last year.
