The Oppo N3 has launched back in October 2014, and is Oppo’s current flagship. This thing has launched alongside the Oppo R5 which was the thinnest smartphone in the world at that time. Anyhow, the Oppo N3 is a premium and quite an expensive device, but it’s also rather unique at the same time. Why is it unique? Well, because of that huge hump on the top of the device which is actually its auto-rotating camera. The Oppo N3 has been available in China for quite some time now, and the company has now finally announced its availability in India as well.
The Oppo N3 features a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it, along with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 32GB of built-in storage (expandable via microSD card up to 128GB). This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz which comes with an Adreno 330 GPU for graphics processing. The 16-megapixel auto-rotating camera (206-degree view, OmniVision’s OV16825 CMOS sensor, f/2.2 aperture) is this device’s main and only camera. LED flash is also available next to the sensor itself. The device features VOOC rapid charging which brings the phone’s 3,000mAh battery from 0% to 75% charge in just half an hour. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on this device with Oppo’s Color OS 2.0.1 on top of it. This is a dual-SIM handset (micro SIM + nano SIM) and it offers 4G LTE connectivity as well. This device also offers premium metal build, in case you were wondering, and the device also sports a fingerprint scanner on the back. The handset measures 161.2 x 77 x 9.9mm and weighs 192 grams.
The Oppo N3 will be available in White color in India and you’ll have to splash out Rs. 42,990 ($691). The company said that the device is already available for pre-order in various retail stores across India. There you have it folks, the Oppo N3 is now officially available in India.
