Samsung Galaxy S6 And S6 Edge UK Promotional Video Takes A Comic Approach With The Help Of James Corden

Now that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have seen their status change from “pre-order” to available, the promotion for the device will be pushed into the stratosphere. That’s not to say that Samsung have not already been heavily promoting the devices, because they have been. There has already been a ton of videos hitting the internet promoting various aspects of the two devices and generally building the product awareness. In fact, Samsung was one of the first to do an unboxing video for their own device. Not to mention, yesterday they also treated the public to an inboxing video too. That said, once devices are available, there is all the new promotional material which will be en route. All the new TV and online spots along with all the other ‘it is available’ and “get it now” promotional material landing.

For instance, it was already reported this morning that Samsung revealed a new video celebrating the arrival of the S6 and S6 Edge. The video focused on the buildup to the device launch and, in particular, the anticipation many potential customers will have been feeling and the general industry has been seeing over the last few weeks. As a result, the video was much more of an emotional video culminating with the anticipation being satisfied with the release of the device(s). Well, over in the UK, a new Samsung video has also been released although this one takes on much more of a comical approach to the arrival of the two Galaxy devices.

The new video was uploaded by Samsung UK and features UK TV star James Corden. Who, also recently became the host of the Late Late Show in the U.S. Building on Corden’s comic background, the video stars Corden as himself, hired to promote the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, as well as the director (not himself) of the video. While Corden tries to focus on the specs of the devices, their premium build and selling the devices, the director tries to focus on distracting with more of a ‘lets create an image’ mentality and selling the image.
