After a lot of rumors, leaks and official teasers, Huawei has finally announced their new P8 flagship. The announcement took place in London yesterday and the company has also announced the P8 Lite handset and the P8 Max phablet. The Huawei P8 is a premium offering by this Chinese smartphone manufacturer, it sports a premium metal design and really solid specifications. The Huawei P8 sports a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) IPS LCD display along with 3GB of RAM and 16 or 64GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card up to 128GB). This handset is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon 930 octa-core processor, and a non-removable 2,680mAh battery comes built-in here. On the back of this device you’ll find a 13-megapixel OIS camera which is flanked by a dual-LED, dual tone flash. The 8-megapixel shooter is available on the front side of this handset for your selfie and video call needs. The Android 5.0.2 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this device with Huwaei’s Emotion UI on top of Google’s OS. This handset supports 4G LTE connectivity, of course, and it ships with a usual array of smartphone sensors. The Huawei P8 measures 144.9 x 72.1 x 6.4mm and weighs 144 grams. The Huawei P8 comes in two variants, the 16GB and 64GB models. The 16GB model will be available in Titanium Grey and Mystic Champagne colors options, and the 64GB variant will ship in Carbon Black and Prestige Gold color variants. The 16GB variant is priced at €499 ($533), and the more expensive 64GB variant will cost you €599 ($640).
