Bluboo is yet another Chinese smartphone OEM that we’ve talked about recently. Like many other China-based smartphone manufacturers, Bluboo is trying to differentiate and get noticed out in the market. We’ve talked about Bluboo X550 back in April, a really solid mid-range offering by the company which offers a 5,300mAh battery on the inside. That handset offers a 5.5-inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing snapper, and is powered by MediaTek’s MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor. Well, Bluboo is planning to release yet another device out to the market, the Bluboo X500, read on.
The Bluboo X500, unlike some previous offerings by the company, will be made out of metal and glass. There are a number of images in the gallery down below which will give you a better look at the device. The phone will sport a 2.5D curved glass on top of its display, and below the display itself, you’ll be able to find a physical home button. Speaking of the home button, that thing will double as a fingerprint scanner, as it’s the case with many China-based flagships these days. Suffice to say, the X500 will be the company’s flagship offering. This handset is expected to pack in MediaTek’s Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM, and the phone will also offer 4G LTE support. Unlike the X550, the Bluboo X500 will pack in ‘only’ a 3,050mAh battery, which is a solid unit compared to the other flagship devices out there.
We don’t have any additional info when it comes to this device, but we do expect for Bluboo to release some additional details really soon. If we had to guess, we’d say that this handset will offer the 16 or 20-megapixel shooter on the back, and you can also expect it to be rather affordable, especially considering the high-end specs it will carry. Bluboo will add some stuff on top of Android Lollipop which will ship on the device, you’ll get a range of gesture controls and similar features along with this device. There you have it folks, stay tuned for more info, we’ll report back soon.
