Doogee's Upcoming Device To Sport Unique Voice Functions

Earlier today, we talked about the upcoming Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro mid-ranger, which this China-based company intends to release later this month. Well, it seems like that affordable handset is not the only smartphone Doogee intends to release in the near future. This China-based company is working on yet another handset, and unlike the Valencia2 Y100 Pro, this handset will be high-end and quite probably the most powerful smartphone this company has released thus far. Anyhow, let’s see what’s it all about.

This handset still hasn’t been named by Doogee, but we do know how will it look like and part of its specs. The provided image gives you a rather good look at the device, though it’s kind of difficult to see the details. The phone will sport a protruding camera on the back (LED flash is also visible on the side), and it seems like it will be made out of metal. The power / lock button and the volume rocker will be located on the right side of the device, and the speaker is located in the lower left corner on the back of this handset. Speaking of the phone’s back, you’ll also be able to find a glass panel on there.

As far as specs go, we do know that this phone will offer 4G LTE connectivity, and that it will feature a 5-inch display with a 2.5D curved glass panel on top of it. The phone will rock MediaTek’s MT6753 processor and will ship with 16GB of RAM. This handset will also sport a ‘unique voice function’, this will let you turn on any app using your voice while the phone is in standby. We’re still not sure what resolution will be its display though, and it’s possible that the phone will sport 3 or 4GB of RAM. Sony’s IMX214 or Samsung’s ISOCELL camera will be a part of this package as well.

Doogee will launch this handset in about 2-3 months, and we’ll let you know if any additional information pops up in the meantime. One thing is for sure, this will be the most powerful Doogee-branded smartphone to date, stay tuned.
