Meizu MX5 has been leaking all over the place for months now. We’ve seen a ton of leaked content when it comes to this device, and the announcement is right around the corner. Meizu’s upcoming flagship is said to sport a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM and various non-expandable internal storage variants. This handset will probably be powered by MediaTek’s Helio X10 (MT6795) 64-bit octa-core processor, nad a 3,150mAh battery will be located on the inside. The 20-megapixel camera will be available on the back of the phone, and a 5-megapixel snapper will be available up front. The MX5 will ship with Android Lollipop pre-installed, and a 4G LTE connectivity will also be a part of this package.
The MX5 will be made out of metal, and it will offer a physical home button below the display, at least according to what we’ve seen thus far. The device is said to measure 146 x 74.6 x 7.9mm, and weight 147 grams. The spec info we’ve mentioned is gathered from a number of leaks and a certification that took place in the last couple of weeks. That being said, the launch event will begin shortly. Meizu’s event will commence at 5:30PM (local time) / 5:30AM (EST) / 3:30AM (PST). In case you’re interested in checking out the event live (keep in mind that it’s in Chinese), you can watch the video embedded down below.
