It is largely becoming common knowledge that Samsung’s latest smartphones offerings, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are the must have device(s) of this year. At least so far and especially when it comes to the Galaxy S6 Edge in particular. This Edged variant has attracted significant attention and praise due to its alluring curved sides and general overall premium feel. Of course, the success of the twin Galaxy S6 devices cannot solely be attributed all to the actual devices. Instead, some thanks must go to Samsung’s extremely active marketing division. It is no secret that Samsung likes to release promotional material for its new devices and is particularly interested in promo videos. As such, the build up to the release of the twin S6 devices saw an almost never ending onslaught of new videos being released.
However, of late, it seems that the promo videos from Samsung had started to disappear with hardly any new material being released for a couple of weeks. Of course this is to be expected, as once Samsung had got the message out there and into just about everyone’s ears, then there is little point on spending additional revenue on new videos. Well, for those who were beginning to miss their Samsung Galaxy S6 video fix, it looks like the company has now made another video available today. What’s more, is that this one is insanely strange.
The new video which went live earlier today on the Samsung Mobile YouTube channel is entitled “That New Phone Feeling” and clearly plays on the notion of what it is like to use a phone for the first time. However, the video is not so clear in its meaning and instead is a slightly surreal journey through the various features of the device, including the rear camera abilities, wireless charging and also selfie features of the phone. All along to the backing track “When I Rule the World” by LIZ. Whether or not you are a fan of the Samsung videos in the past, just for the sheer strangeness of this one, you should check it out and can do so by hitting play below.
