Promotional Video For Asus ZenPad C 7.0 Released

Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has just released an official video pertaining to a new, hitherto unannounced tablet, dubbed the ZenPad C. It is a budget 7-inch Android-powered tablet with an IPS panel that comes with VisualMaster technology, which is the company’s marketing speak for ostensibly better viewing angles on the device, than what you’d expect from regular IPS LCD panels. The tablet in question meanwhile, will come with the Z170 model number, and will be offered in two different variants; one will come with a 5 megapixel primary camera, with Asus’ proprietary PixelMaster technology, and a 0.3 megapixel secondary camera. The other model will feature a 2 megapixel primary camera, while the secondary camera will remain unchanged. The newly introduced device is said to have a thickness of 8.4 mm and a weight of 265 grams. At least one of the two models will also come with dual SIM, dual standby functionality, with 3G voice-calling support.

Asus has been on a product launching spree of late. The company has already launched its ZenFone 2 range of smartphones internationally not so long ago, and is already prepping to launch a new refreshed ZenFone 2 series featuring Qualcomm processors, in lieu of the Intel chips found in the original ZenFone 2 series. These new smartphones were introduced at the Computex 2015 trade fair, held earlier this month in Taipei, Taiwan. Along with the new ZenFones, the company also introduced its second generation smartwatch, dubbed the Zenwatch 2, and as many as four new tablets as part of its ZenPad series.

The largest of the lot is a 10-inch tablet, named the ZenPad 10, which will be launched in three different versions – the Z300C, the Z300CG and the Z300CL. The tablet will come with an optional physical keyboard. Then there are two 8-inch models, dubbed the ZenPad 8.0 and ZenPad 8.0 S, which will come with a stylus, as the S in the nomenclature would indicate. Each of the 8-inch models will come in two different versions, with model numbers Z380C and Z380KL belonging to the former, and Z580C and Z580CA belonging to the later. The company also showed off three different variants of a 7-inch ZenPad tablet, bearing the model numbers Z370C, Z370CG and 370CL.
