Ulefone Set To Announce Be Touch 2 Handset On June 8

Ulefone is one of those Chinese smartphone OEMs which are trying to make a name for themselves in the market. This OEM, much like a number of others, is selling their devices via a number of Chinese resellers. The good news is that their devices are available worldwide, you can basically order a device and a reseller will ship it your way. That being said, Ulefone is constantly pushing new devices out in the market. The Ulefone Be Touch is one of their latest releases, and more than a solid device considering the price point. The company has already shown off its fingerprint scanning capabilities, and the Android 5.1 Lollipop update will land soon on this handset.

That being said, it seems like Ulefone is preparing to release yet another handset, the Ulefone Be Touch 2. If you take a look at the provided image above, you’ll see that Ulefone basically confirms the Be Touch 2 announcement for June 8. Now, according to our sources, this handset won’t be that different from the Be Touch on the outside, it will keep the general design of the Be Touch, including the physical home button and the fingerprint scanner. Another piece of information that we’ve managed to gather is that this phone’s price will be somewhat lower this time around, the phone will cost $20-30 less than the Be Touch, which costs around $220.

MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor (which is fairly popular with Chinese OEMs lately) will quite probably fuel this handset, and 13 and 5-megapixel shooters are going to be included here. The 720p display will almost certainly make a comeback, and the RAM capacity might be lower than 3GB which were included in the Be Touch. 2GB of RAM are rumored this time around, but we’re still not sure regarding the specifications, we’ll just have to wait another couple of days and see what Ulefone has up their sleeve. There is always a chance that the Ulefone Be Touch 2 will sport a higher-end specifications than the ones listed here, but that’s somewhat unlikely. Either way, stay tuned, we’ll report back soon.
