Samsung has announced quite a few devices in 2015. The most notable announced products are quite probably the company’s Galaxy S6 flagships which were announced back in March. Well, these are not the only Samsung-branded devices unveiled in March, this Korean tech giant has also announced their Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab A Plus tablets. Both of these come in 8 and 9.7-inch variants, and they’re basically identical as far as specs go, but the ‘Plus’ models ship with Samsung’s S Pen stylus, while the regular models do not.
Well, the 9.7-inch variant of the Galaxy Tab A Plus is now listed on Samsung’s Belgium-France website, which you can visit by clicking the source link down below. The Galaxy Tab A Plus 9.7 sports a 9.7-inch 1024 x 768 display and comes in two RAM and internal storage variants. The 1.5GB of RAM model comes equipped with Wi-Fi only and 16GB of in-built storage, while the 2GB of RAM variant offers 4G LTE as well, and is available in both 16 and 32GB models. The device that is listed on Samsung Belgium-France site is actually the 2GB variant with 16GB of internal storage. This device is fueled by a quad-core SoC running at 1.2GHz, and a 6,000mAh battery is also a part of this package. The 5-megapixel shooter is available on the back of the Galaxy Tab A Plus 9.7, and a 2-megapixel shooter is located up front. This thing comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed with Samsung’s custom UI on top of it. The device measures 242.5 x 166.8 x 7.5mm, while it weighs 450 grams (Wi-Fi) / 453 grams (4G LTE model).
There you have it. This tablet is actually available in Sandy Black and Sandy White colors through some retailers, and costs around $372, in case you’re interested. It seems like the Galaxy Tab A Plus 8.0 variant is not listed on this site, only the 9.7-inch version.
