More Alleged LG Nexus (2015) Cases Surface

As many of you know, both LG and Huawei are rumored to be working on Nexus phones with Google this year. LG is rumored to be working on a 5.2-inch device, and Huawei will reportedly manufacture the 5.7-inch model. We’ve already seen a ton of leaks and rumors, and Huawei’s executive even hinted that the company is working on the device. That being said, the alleged LG Nexus case leaked yesterday, showing off three rather big cutouts one its back. We’ll talk more about that in a second, but let’s tackle the new leaks first, shall we.

If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll notice several real life images showing the very same smartphone case that leaked yesterday. This time around the case is pictured in a see-through white color as well, next to the glossy black variant. Now, let’s talk about those cutouts on the back, shall we. As you can see, there are three cutouts there, two circular ones which are probably there for the camera and the fingerprint scanner, and the rectangular one on the side, which is probably there for the LED flash or something, though it’s quite big. It is, of course, possible that the two circular cutouts are there for the 3D camera that was actually rumored recently. The hole on the side is quite odd though, it seems unusually big for an LED flash, but perhaps LG intends to include the laser autofocus below / next to it as well, which makes sense.

Anyhow, we don’t have that much info when it comes to the rumored LG Nexus, but some specs did leak in the past. According to that info, the LG Nexus will sport the aforementioned 5.2-inch display, and will be powered by the Snapdragon 808 or 810 SoC by Qualcomm. The 2,700mAh battery was also mentioned in the past, but take this spec info with a grain of salt though, these are just rumors at this point. We’ll quite probably seem many more rumors / leaks before this device launches. Speaking of the announcement, Google is expected to unveil these two devices in Q4 this year. Stay tuned for more info.
