When it comes to new handsets arriving, the Fall of 2015 looks set to be a good and phone packed few months. This week has already seen the unveiling of the Moto X (2015 edition) by Motorola as well as the OnePlus 2 from OnePlus. With both devices set to become available in the coming weeks and months. That said, looking forward to the rest of the year and there are offerings expected from Samsung, HTC Huawei and LG. In fact, when it comes to LG, there are a couple of phones expected to be in the Fall 15 pipeline. The first of them is expected to be the follow-up to the LG G4 and may even be a “Super Premium” device if the company is to be believed. While the other option is what many Nexus fans will be eager to see as it is largely expected that LG are making a new Nexus device for this year.
In fact, there are suppose to be two Nexus devices abound in 2015 with one being made by LG and the other Huawei. It is also expected that the Huawei Nexus will be the more flagship device and the LG Nexus will be more of a revised LG Nexus 5 and presumably slightly more affordable than the Huawei option. In terms of what is known about the LG Nexus, it is rumored to come equipped with a 5.2-inch display, possible Snapdragon 808 processor and a 2,700 mAh battery. So although the device’s existence is largely expected, the level of detail of what to expect is far more limited.
That said, OnLeaks, a known tipster, has today sent out an image which he suggests is an early drawing of the next LG Nexus device’s back. According to OnLeaks, this is a very “raw” picture which was put together by a case manufacturer and based on early information. As such, the details and design could possible change significantly. However, in terms of the current image, the drawing does highlight the placement of the camera, flash and an additional placement which could be for a fingerprint sensor or maybe even a 3D camera as has been recently rumored.
