Coolpad Dazen Note 3 Will Launch In India Soon

Coolpad is a Chinese smartphone OEM which has been partnering up with some companies in China in order to expand their business any way they can. Coolpad is actually doing really well at the moment, and they’ve released a couple of devices earlier this year, including the Dazen Note 3 handset. This smartphone was announced 10 days ago in China, and is already making its way to India it seems. Coolpad Dazen Note 3 follows the lead of Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 which were announced in that Asian country back in May.

The Coolpad Dazen Note 3 sports a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS display along with 2 or 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card). This handset is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 1.3GHz along with a Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. The 13-megapixel camera (f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens) is available on the back of the device along with an LED flash. On the front side of this phone you’ll find a 5-megapixel shooter, and a 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package. This is a dual-SIM handset, which offers 4G LTE connectivity and has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on this smartphone with Coolpad’s Cool UI 6.0 installed on top of it. The Coolpad Dazen Note 3 measures 151 x 77.9 x 9.3mm, while it weighs 155 grams.

You may notice that the listing says 2 or 3GB of RAM, well, not both variants are currently available. Only the 2GB model launched (in China), but Coolpad did say that they might opt to upgrade that to 3GB soon (before India launch). Either way, stay tuned for more news on that front, but for now, this is a 2GB model only it seems. Coolpad has actually partnered up with QIHU 360 in China and launched a new company called QIKU. Interesting enough, this smartphone was actually launched in China under that brand. Coolpad is definitely trying to expand any way they can, and they seem to be on the right path thus far. Anyhow, the Dazen Note 3 comes in Black and White color variants, and will be priced under Rs. 10,000 in India. It is said that the device will launch soon, but the company didn’t specify a date just yet.
